Windows Live Mail 2011
1. While viewing e-mail, click the "Home" tab in the Ribbon.
2. In the "Delete" section of the Ribbon, click the "Junk" button.
3. Select "Safety options" from the pull-down menu.
4. The "Safety Options" dialog box appears.
To add an address / domain to this list:
1. Click the "Add" button.
2. The "Add address or domain" dialog box appears. Either enter a full domain or a specific e-mail address to mark as safe.
3. Click "OK" to add the address / domain.
Windows Mail
1. Open Windows Mail by clicking the Start button, clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Mail.
2. Click a message from the sender that you want to add to the Safe Senders list.
3. Click the Message menu, point to Junk e?mail, and then do one of the following:
To allow all future messages from that specific sender, click Add Sender to Safe Senders List.
To allow all messages from any sender whose domain name is the same as the sender's, click Add Sender's Domain (@example.com) to Safe Senders List.
Note
If you want to add a sender to the Safe Senders list and you don't have a message from that sender available, you can add the sender's address manually. To do this, click the Message menu, point to Junk e?mail,
and then click Junk e?mail Options. Click the Safe Senders tab, click Add, type the e?mail address you'd like to allow, and then click OK.
Gmail
To ensure that you receive emails in your inbox, you can add the email address to your contact list. If one of our mails has been moved to the spam folder, you can mark it "Not Spam" to whitelist it.
1. Select contacts from the options on the left side of the Gmail Inbox.
2. Select Create Contact on the top menu.
3. Enter the email address in the primary email box.
4. Select Save.
Outlook (for 2003, 2007)
Without an example email address in your inbox:
1. Select Actions from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
2. Select Junk E-mail.
3. Select Junk E-mail Options...
4. Click the Safe Sender tab.
5. Click Add.
6. Type in the email address you wish to add to your safe sender list.
7. Click OK.
With an example email in your inbox:
1. Open the email.
2. In the Toolbar options at the top, click the Safe Lists drop-down.
Note: This is located in the "Junk Email" section
3. Select "Add sender to Address book".
4. Click OK.
To white list an entire domain:
1. Open the email.
2. In the Toolbar options at the top, click the Safe Lists drop-down.
Note: This is located in the "Junk Email" section
3. Select "Add Sender's Domain (@example.com) to Safe Senders List.
4. Click OK.
Outlook (for 2010)
1. In Outlook, go to the Home tab.
2. Click the Junk button.
3. Choose "Junk E-Mail Options" from the drop-down list.
4. Go to the Safe Senders tab.
5. Type in either the email address or the domain name you wish to add.
6. Click OK.
Outlook Express
Outlook Express does not have a safe senders list. Add the address of the email you want to be able to receive to your address book.
1. Go to the Tools menu.
2. Select "Address Book".
3. Click New and select New Contact from the drop-down menu.
4. Type in email address and include any details you want.
5. Click OK.
Hotmail
The following steps can be used to add an email address to your safe senders list.
Login to Hotmail
In the top right of your inbox click Options and then select More Options
Under Junk Email click Safe and Blocked Senders
Under Safe and Blocked Senders click Safe Senders
Type in the email address and then click the box Add to List
You should now be able to receive all emails from your safe contact.
